Heather Carroll (Sergeant)

Sergeant Carroll started her career as a detention deputy for Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office in 2014. She joined the agency with an associate degree in paralegal studies and interest in law. She set to work as a detention deputy with strong values of justice and to have an exciting career in law enforcement. Sergeant Carroll has been a huge part of the Spartanburg Detention Center. She trained several new detention deputies when she was on shift, worked as an ID deputy in booking for many years, was the detour coordinator with a past program known as operation educate and more. Sergeant Carroll makes a great recruiter and has excelled because she loves her job and spreading knowledge to others. She takes pride in seeing the success in individuals all around the agency.
