In May of this year the Spartanburg County Narcotics Unit started an investigation into drug distribution by Preston Young. During this investigation Spartanburg County reached out to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Greer City DEU and Spartanburg City DEA TFO for assistance due to the investigation going into Greer City, Georgia and North Carolina. Through investigative techniques a search warrant was obtained and executed on 9-9-25 for 2165 Fort Prince Blvd. 2A Wellford, SC. This is the residence of Branna Moore and the hub for Preston Young’s drug distribution. During the search of the residence the following was located and seized for evidence:
Meth – 2,224 grams (4.9lbs)
Fentanyl – 771 Grams (1.7lbs)
Cocaine – 106 grams
Marijuana – 908 grams (2lbs)
MDMA – 152 grams
3 handguns
2 vehicles
Assorted jewelry
Preston Young was arrested at an address in Greer on 9-9-25. Branna Moore was arrested on 9-10-25
Both Young and Moore remain in Spartanburg County Detention Facility with no bond.
