Records

The Records Section is responsible for maintaining and managing all police reports and official records within the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office.

Monday- Thursday 8:30am- 5:00pm

Friday 8:30am-4:00pm

Scrap Metal Permit Hours

Monday - Thursday 8:30am-4:00pm

For Scrap Metal Permits please make sure to have your Driver's License, State ID readily available to allow the process to move in a timely manner. If you have a different address than what you have on your Driver's License and or State ID you must have proof of residency in the form of a Power Bill, Water Bill, or Electric bill with your name also attached. These documents must be for the current or previous month. Should you need your Scrap Metal Permit reprinted there will be a $10 CASH charge to get it reprinted.

When requesting a report please have the case number, date of the incident, person(s) involved and the nature of the incident. The more information you have readily available, the easier it is to retrieve the information and get it back to you in a timely manner.
