The Special Victims Unit is dedicated to investigating all sex-related crimes and cases of abuse. This Unit is composed of one Sergeant and three specialized Investigators who are trained in advanced techniques specific to the unique and complex nature of these investigations. Additionally, the Unit is responsible for handling juvenile and elder abuse cases and collaborates closely with the Department of Social Services and the Spartanburg Children’s Advocacy Center to ensure comprehensive support and care for victims.
